Hi,

Joomla 2.5.14
CiviCRM 4.3.5

I have SEF and URL rewriting enabled on my site. When I create a menu link on the front end for users to create a PCP, the link throws a Error CiviCRM-001. If I edit the menu link to an external link with the live link copied from the Civi administrator dashboard, it works fine. Then if I edit it again back to the Create a PCP link, IT WORKS FINE!

I need to know how to fix this.

I just figured out that this is related to the backend needing the caches cleaned up within Administer>System Settings>Clean Caches. Mine are always getting reset with the "administrator/" missing within the link.

Once that is cleaned, the SEF menu link creates correctly.

But I am still waiting to figure out why the caches are always getting messed up.

Well, I thought I had this figured out. It is not related to the Caches.

I did try changing the menu link from View My PCP to Text Separator and then back to View My PCP and that also fixed the problem.
