I haven't been able to figure out how to solve this one. Any clues? Here's the JIRA Link.....

First, I could not find a valid session key Error returned after Quick Search using Browser Internet Explorer 10. Then, I encountered same problem when anonymous users would try to register up for an Event created in CiviEvents. No such problem with Chrome and Firefox and problem only goes away on IE10 when domain added to trusted for cookies in Tools-Privacy. Of course this isn't a reasonable thing to require of anonymous users.

Hi,

Is it possible this is caused by something specific to your installation? I recommend testing this on drupal.demo.civicrm.org to see if you can re-create the same behavior there (of course that's 4.3, but if we can find the error there, it will help fix the problem for future versions, and there should be a way to back-port a fix to your 4.2 installation).

I've been unable to reproduce this error using

HOWEVER, in a new instance we've spun up of 4.2.9 that has Debug enabled in Global settings, using Quick Search produces the following backtrace output. Does this shed any light?
