UFGroup.php memory exhausted on view profile

I had this problem on 3.4.7 and hoped it would be fixed when I upgraded to 4.3.5 D7.

When I search using a custom profile and click on view.  I'm getting:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1048648 bytes) in .../sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/BAO/UFGroup.php on line 936

Edit works,  view does not.

The profile has 48 fields, most of which are custom.

(In 3.4.7 the file it reported memory exhausted in was Array.php)

I hadn't bothered to try to save something and find that I get the same problem if I save something. 

Maybe I do have a memory problem.  I can't things to save on the old system either and I used to be.

Well, I'd love to help out, but it looks like in this case it really was memory.  I had to bump up the php memory limit from 90M to 190M.  Seems like a lot of memory just to show 50 fields, but what do I know maybe it isn't.
