I want to add all my 2000 or so contacts to a group, in order to create a group that hasn't made a contribution - see http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=29804.new;topicseen#new
When I run advanced search and then select all 2000 contacts to add to the group, the next screen shows that 'only' 500 contacts have been selected. Is this a set limit? can it be varied? Is there a way round this limit?

It's always good to answer your own questions

I ran a 'Constituent Detail' report showing all contacts, and then clicked the 'Add these Contacts to Group' and all 2000+ contacts were added - no 500 restriction !
