I've created a public profile update page that our members can use to update their membership account information.  Tried to include the ability to renew/upgrade membership at the same time, but getting the message that "multiple record types" cannot be updated in this manner.  Am I missing something, or is this just not possible.

We are using a membership page for renew/upgrade.  The "update account" page includes constituent information & preferences that is in addition to the standard membership info. (name, address, etc.).  Sometimes users only want to update their info. without membership renewal/upgrade, but some might want to renew a membership at the same time.  I think you've answered my question, however.  So, we can just continue to direct those who want to renew/upgrade, after they have updated their other information, to the membership page.  Thank you!
