If nobody responds here, you can try on our civicrm-translators mailing list.

Also, you can look at the latest German PO files and see who translated them last (the Last-Translator: header field).

Our online translation system is at translations.civicrm.org. As for offline tools – for which operating system?

If someone will translate parts of the online documents where will it be placed ?

Is your wiki multilingual ?

All the documentation traffic is encouraged to happen on the wiki.

From translation support tools point of view, not really. There are some ideas to add this kind of functionality (http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-1076), but it's still in planning phase.

From encoding support side, yes, you can use any characters that fit in UTF8.

Thx,

ok, thx for your help.

After a short communication with Donald i put a new branch on wiki for my translations.

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/Dokumentation_DE

First i will translate some of the newer documents (1.7) and some common papers like CiviCRM_yearend_2006.pdf

Any helpful suggestion ?

Thx,
Alain
