Quick question: should emails sent through the 'Case Roles' section (by clicking the envelope) appear automatically in the 'Case Activities'? Or do we need to use 'File On Case' for them?

The documentation suggests they should appear automatically, but they aren't atm (WordPress and 4.3.5). 'File On Case' works fine, though.

I think it used to work that way - it would be filed on the case automatically. But recently all I've seen out in the wild is that the person will first create a different type of case activity, and then at the bottom of that activity use the Send Copy To feature. That does file both on the case.

So I don't really know, but it doesn't sound like the way it's expected to work.
