CiviCRM wordpress/joomla downloads hard to find
September 13, 2013, 11:18:35 am
Hello,

Just wanted to mention that it's kind of tricky to find the links to the wordpress and joomla downloads from http://civicrm.org/go/download. The only link given there is indeed to the Drupal version.

Maybe something that can be changed.

Simon

Simon,

sf.net allows us to set only one download as default ( which currently is drupal ), not sure what can be changed. Any suggestions are most welcomed.

It now appears to be going to https://sourceforge.net/projects/civicrm/files/civicrm-stable/ which seems like a decent solution to me - correct me if I am wrong

Yes that's seems to be a good solution, but unfortunately sf.net does not allow to set a folder path. So you can either set file as default download or it will pick up last uploaded file as default download.

So in currently scenario if you don't set any default file, it will prompt you to download civicrm-4.4-beta2-joomla, hence I have not made any changes.
