no recaptcha on profile for subdomain using drupal

new 4.3.5 install on drupal 7.23. No recaptcha on profile.
I also have wp+civicrm 4.3.5 with a similar profile on a subdomain and recaptcha works fine.
Joomla+civicrm on a subdomain also works fine. It's just drupal that has the problem.

But on drupal you could use a webform instead of a profile. Just sayin...

How does that solve the captcha problem?

Haha - I didn't claim it did :)

I was just pointing out a workaround - in most cases a webform can do what a profile can do, and it wouldn't be affected by this bug.

It does sound like a bug that should get investigated and it would be great if you could do so. Gather all the info you can about how the captcha is generated and why drupal multisite might affect it.
