How do we get month names in the X axis of bar charts?

See attached, generated by the Contribution Summary report.  The month is not available, not as an axis and not even when you hover over the bar.

Is this a bug or have I missed a configuration setting?

If i had to guess, this has something to do with how we interact with the graphics library and maybe not sending in a parameter or two.

Wanna investigate and report back?

They disappeared when the open flash charts upgrade happened because the 'rotate' function no longer works - probably because the font is no longer embedded in the flash or something.

The ones in 4.4 have had the 'rotate' removed - & now show. But, unfortunately they over-lap each other (probably not on all screens).

However, I think effort is better put into replacing OpenFlashCharts than dealing with this as OpenFlashCharts has not been maintained for a long time now. There is a thread on the developer forum about the potential replacement - but we haven't managed to pull together behind one horse & I don't think there are lots of funds available on this ATM

I do not have the coding experience in this area necessary to investigate personally but am open to sponsorship if interest coalesces in improving this.
