To expand on this.
We are planning on using a Joomla-CiviCRM setup for a client. This provides almost everything they need, however, they need the ability to manually create memberships(easily done as is) with accompanying PDF invoice sent to the member with an invoice ID(or something unique to identify each invoice). The current problems with this is that PDF invoices are not easily generate(if at all it seems) but can use the thank-you letters as a kind of work around but this is not automated. There is also no invoice ID generated for manual contributions either.

If the member does this through the website, everything should be automated as it is now, but they will also need to receive a receipt PDF with all appropriate details for tax, this would be similar to the PDF Invoices.

If anyone has any input or some direction as to where/who we could get more information on this subject. Please let us know.
