Exposing reports to the Joomla front-end?

Are there any plans to support exposing CiviCRM reports to the user front end?  It would be useful to be able to let front-end users see certain reports without having an additional logon into the back end.

Currently no.

This might be a good project to attach to making civicrm work better with joomla! 3.x (for which we are still seeking code contributions and/or sponsorships)
