Participant count using price sets displays different results
September 27, 2013, 02:58:29 pm
We have an event with a price set (Adult, Child, Member) as values, and the participant count set to 1. Max particpants for the event is 25.

However, on rare occasions when viewing the participant list for the event instead of seeing a Fee Level value of:

Adult 1
Child 1

We see:

Adult - 2 Participant Count -2

Whatever is causing this creates an error where the participant count can exceed the max participants value. In this case 26 instead of 25. We checked and rechecked the event and price set for these anomalies but can't find a cause. Can you help with this one?

Update. We found a clue for this condition. It appears that if there is an initial pending transaction and a separate completed transaction, and the pending transaction is deleted. It causes the above to occur.

Hey Lobo -

This appears to only happen when there is initially a pending registration and a second registration/transaction for the same person. The client deleted the pending transaction and that is when the difference occurs. Thanks very much for any insight you can provide.
