Installation complete - what next?

I seem to have successfuly installed civicrm in that I have activated it, sorted out the problems with the database and have a dashboard entry with activities and news.

However there does not seem to be any obvious way of using it.

I set it up with its own sql database xxx_civicrm. Is this correct or should I have used the existing xxx_wpress database?

Thanks

Kymberley

Interesting - I just added a test user to log in to the site and it seems it was automatically added to the civicrm contacts table.

However when I deleted the user it did not get deleted from contacts table.
