Membership fee range?

Wikimedia Netherlands want to use CiviMember to manage their memberships. They have a fee range, so you have to pay the minimum of 12 euro's but are invited to pay up to 24 euro's if you can afford it. And you can always pay more....
Does anyone ever done anything with membership fee ranges?

Yes, it is....i realized when I was typing. But I wondered at the same time if anyone had any experience with min and max, and any amount in between.
