Hi guys,

I have created a custom text field for Events. It is accessible in the CiviCRM Event manager. Now, in Drupal I have created a View, in the View I can select all CiviCRM standard fields but not the custom field. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion how to get that custom field into the View?

My setup is Drupal 7.23 and CiviCRM 4.3.5.

hi

if you have custom fields on Contact, and make a View based on civi contacts, do you see the custom fields, ie is this a specific issue with 'that' custom field, or with all custom fields.

if 'that' custom field - maybe try clearing caches as sometimes custom field groups don't show up in view directly

if 'all' then you may need to check whether your settings.php needs updating as per /civicrm/admin/setting/uf?reset=1

and of course also need to double check that you are talking about Events and not participant fields (people sometimes get confused on that)

probably not being that much help but may give you some ideas of what to check

Thank you very much for you hints. It was a confusion between Events and Participants fields in my case. Once I realized it, custom fields appeared for selection
