the case is as follows:

You register for yourself (contact 1) and your guest (contact 2 john doe 2)
it looks up contact 2 in the database , finds a match and adds the participation to that contact

if the participant status was " on wait list"
after marking them "pending from wait list"

the Primary person (contact 1) confirms their registration, first screen so far good.
now the primary person is asked to confirm their "additional participant" in our case we have 'name, and email " as the profile field used for additional participant.

If the primary person decides, that the guest (john doe2) they wanted to bring is not the same person anymore, and wants to bring john doe3 , changes the 'name and email, on the confrim screen.

ISSUE:
what the system does it overwrites the contact john doe2 with john doe3 information. 

what it should do is.. cancel the regisrtation for contact 2 john doe 2 and search the database again if john doe3 exists , and add that person as the particpant. if nothing found then a new contact needs to be created.
