Customise Contribute Profile view

Hi

I want to change the default view of the contributions on a profile, in the Joomla Administrator. I have looked in the book and on the forum and found lots of interesting things but I haven't found out how to change the fields displayed.  :(

I have created some custom fields which I can see on add a Contribution. I have also tried creating a custom contribute report but my custom fields are not available here.

What do I need to do the change the default display fields in the Profile for a Contribution please?

you'll need to do this vis the searchColumns hook and a customized template

Hi

The reason why I want to view additional fields is because I can't find a way of replicating a shopping cart for imported data e.g. cart total, date, orderid and then add items e.g. qty, item name, item price.

Is there a way of doing this without importing every single item into Civi?

sorry, i'm not very sure what you mean by the below. The hooks dont need the data imported into civi, they can use other db's / external services (i.e. its upto the hook to retrieve the data and send it to civi)

So I could view a shopping cart from Virtuemart using the method in your link without importing data into Civi?
