Apologies for the non-tecchie post.  I am an end user and regularly use CiviMail and standard Civi for sending bulk emails.  If I want to send a bulk email through Civi to a group I first identify my group, select send/schedule mass mail and compose my mail.  Using this facility allows me to also select an unsubscribe group thereby allowing me to select a different group as the unsubscribe group from that which I am mailing.  However, sending a mail through Civi does not allow me to save the mail and come back to it later (If you go to draft mailings it resides there but you cannot click continue).  If I use CiviMail however there is no option for me to be able to select a different group as the unsubscribe group. Additionally, if I use CiviMail I can only send the email to mailing lists I cannot send to other groups I have created that are not mailing lists.

I am stuck where I cannot send a bulk email through Civi and be able to save it and send later and I cannot send through CiviMail as I do not have an option to allow me to unsubscribe from different groups

I have very valid reasons for wanting my unsubscribe group to be different from the group that I am sending to.

I am attending CiviCon and raised this at a BOF session and was advised to post this to the forums
