Joomla 3.1, Civi 4.3.7 - Frontend not displaying
October 05, 2013, 04:33:53 pm
Took the plunge today and upgraded Joomla 2.5.14 to 3.1.5, and Civi from 4.3.5 to 4.3.7.  I don't think this version of Civi officially supports J3.1 (I could be wrong), but most seemed to be getting by without too many hitches.  Interestingly, the upgrade et al. went smooth and everything works well on the backend.  No forms, however, show on the frontend of the site.  At first I thought this might be an ACL issue, however I believe that it has something to do with SEF urls.  If I follow the path on the live site (example: http://thewrightoperahouse.org/underwrite-us/underwrite-theater) the donation form does not show.  However, if in the admin area (under manage contribution pages) I select the "Live Page" from the "Links" menu item beside the same contribution page I get (http://thewrightoperahouse.org/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&reset=1&id=4), which shows the donation form but no other modules intended to be published to that menu item.  Following this train of thought, if I disable the SEF option in the global config, the same url on the live site is (http://thewrightoperahouse.org/index.php?option=com_civicrm&view=Contributions&Itemid=171) which works perfectly fine.  Any thoughts on how to fix this (note that I enabled the SEF again to demonstrate how the first link appears).

Thanks for any help,

Josh
