PayPal Pro clarification
April 08, 2008, 10:26:43 pm
Just noticed that in CiviCRM 2.0, PayPal Pro pmt config, there's a new field for API URL. I understand the value should be https://api-3t.paypal.com/

I'm just wondering if that impacts the "Site URL" value. Should those two values be the same? The PayPal site doesn't seem to differentiate.

argh

i think i messed up a bit here :(

We should not have introduced API URL, paypal pro and paypal express should use Site URL to contact the api server.

We currently have Site URL and API URL

in paypal pro/express case, we use API URL and ignore Site URL

You can check: http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/paymentProcessor?action=add&reset=1&pp=PayPal for the right values for API URL
