Joomla Upgrade to 4.3.7 breaks cron
October 08, 2013, 05:33:56 am
Hi,

I have been using setcronjob.com to trigger our cron via URL which has been working fine until the upgrade. Now the URL gives a 403 error. I have checked and the right username and pass as well as site key are used in the URL and match what's in the settings.

Also the cron.php file has 755 permissions and exists.

The cron is now not working, so any ideas would be appreciated please!!

Using Joomla 2.5.14.

Thanks

Update: We are now also experiencing glitches with event registration. Users are experiencing putting in the information for 1-2 people and then proceeding, after which they are taken to the registration screen again, i.e. they cannot seem to proceed. They have also tried different browsers and same occurs.

Can anyone please assist?
