Tokens in event texts

I think the token-feature in mailings is really cool.

Is there any possibility that this might be extended to apply to event texts? I tend to create a lot of similar events where the template only partially helps since I need to go into all the text and update e.g. the event name in confirm messages etc. Here the use of tokens would be an immense help and work saver.

Is it at all possible?

it is possible :) However someone will need to code it and extend support for tokens in the event (and maybe other) contexts

Ok. I'm not in a situation where I have the time to do that right now, but might pick it up at some later time.
