Database Updates from 4.2.9 to 4.2.12?
October 11, 2013, 01:35:35 pm
Folks,

When updating from 4.2.9 to 4.2.12, are there any database changes implemented as part of the update process?

This is why I'm asking: I have a client with a civi database over 1 GB. He emails about 40K emails per week. His database got corrupted last year. It was ambiguous in our contract who was responsible for the time fixing this problem. I decided just to eat it. It was about 40 years. With our new contract it's explicit that the client is responsible for all those hours should the database become corrupted again or there are other problems that come up out of the blue. In alerting the client about the security upgrade I need to advise them on what the risks are of the upgrade itself causing something that will result in my charging them for lots of hours.

Yes, I think so.
