Price Set defaults to General membership type
October 12, 2013, 03:29:14 am
Hi

We've stated using Price Sets for our accommodation. The Membership Type associated with the Price Set is called "Accommodation", however every time I use the price set and record the membership & contribution on save it reverts to Membership Type = General.

Any ideas on this? Anyone seen this behavior before?

EDIT: There is some issue here - not certain if its a bug or not. I've tried recreating this on the demo site but there I cannot get Price Sets to function at all. I created a set and assigned it to a Membership Type "Accommodation" which also has a Financial Type associated called "Accomm". All fine but then on save the site momentarily prompts:

Code: [Select]
x
Please correct the following errors in the form fields below:
Select at least one membership option.

but then disappears and there is no red error code as usual and no change I make will make allow the form to save / stop the error from flashing up. This might be related to why I can't seem to associate a membership type on my own 4.2.0 Drupal site (?)

EDIT 2: Changing the Financial Type allows the membership created using the Price Set to be saved. Again though it is marked as Membership Type "General" instead of "Accomm" as expected / desired.

Thank you!

Anyone know about this? Is it a bug that the price set fails to adhere to the Membership Type?

BUG - Price Set defaults to General membership type
October 24, 2013, 06:29:17 am
This is a bug.

I have found that entering consecutive Price Sets the membership is cycling through the membership types. I have assigned the Price Set to "Membership" using the checkbox. How can I permanently assign the price set to the Membership type of my choosing?
