WTH with removing the Forum link
October 12, 2013, 08:20:57 pm
First the link to the forum is removed from the participate drop down menu so that you have to click on Join the Community then Forum. Now the Forum link is gone from the Join the Community page. No where to be found. Do we really want the Forum to be that hard to find?

Why not put it at the top alongside the Blog link to make it easy to get to? At the very least put the link to the forum back on the Join the Community page.

I was happy to find the link on the front page under "For Developers" listing, easier than before!

Just looked at "Join the Community", and I see what you mean. Strictly speaking, there is a link, but it's pretty hard to find -- it's under "Helping others." I think one would first go the forum when looking for help -- the idea of helping another through the forum comes a bit later.

Perhaps a better heading would indicate that forums are really a two-way experience -- maybe "Help Each Other" or "Discuss" or "Interact" or "Converse"?
