Advanced multi-select display size - can this be changed?

I am using CiviCRM on a Joomla installation and have used the advanced multi-select in a few custom fields. Many of the options I have included are fairly long and so do not display fully in the display - is there any way to make the display wider?

you should be able to do this via a jQuery snippet and change the attributes on that specific form element. This is not configurable via code

Use CSS or jQuery in your theme or block (Drupal only) to adjust the size.
