I am trying to configure a membership for wordpress site as follows:

-Parent enroll child for membership.  (Parent is never a member
-Need parent contact info (Name, email, phone, address) - would be great if I could get both parents info as contacts.
-Need Child info (Name, DOB, Yrs experience, gender)
-Membership is good for one year From fixed date (Sept 1 - Aug 31) and has fixed cost. 

I can get everything working except for collecting the Child Info.  I have created a profile for the athlete info but when you view the contribution page where they will enroll, it is always filled out with the logged in user info.

I have searched for similar functionality and come across "on behalf of", Youth event registration extension (Which is great for events), and several other very old threads.

Is there a way to implement something for memberships in a way similar to the Youth Event Registration?
