Installing CiviBooking breaks Contact Search

New user and recently installed CiviBooking extension, which would be extremely valuable to use for my site. There were a couple of quirks noted after the install. First, the SQL portion of the install did not run, so I ran that manually in phpMyAdmin. I had to manually add the activity type, not a big deal. The deal breaker at this point though is that enabling the extension causes Find Contacts to return no records. Since this is a new database, there were only three records added so far, but none of them show up in Find Contacts, though they do appear in the Contact Reports. After un-installing CiviBooking, those three records were found again by Find Contacts. Can anyone tell me where to start looking for the cause of this?

Hi

Thanks you for the feedback.

1. Installation

We haven't tested the installation with CiviCRM version 4.4.0 yet. (I did test it with version 4.4beta3). This seems like the installation hook didn't get processed. We will have a look for this issue.

2. Contact missing when searching.

This issue is appear to on CiviCRM 4.4.0 stable (which we are looking into it now) but It is working with CiviCRM 4.4beta version. If u want to try the CiviBooking out you should use CiviCRM 4.4beta until we release the beta version with working with CiviCRM 4.4.

We have raised the issue on JIRA for the searching at http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-13659.

This seems to be a bug in the core and it should be fixed in version 4.4.1

We have updated the code that should work with 4.4.x but there is a minor issue with the search query. We also create a demonstration site at for the lasted version.
