Incorrect number of hosts configured?
October 29, 2013, 08:55:56 am
Hello,

I signed up for CiviSMTP last week, and I've tried to configure the my account, but I always get this message below, any ideas?

"Email Domain Check : iptar.civismtp.com appears to have an incorrect number of hosts configured. DNS said there are 0 hosts and you should have 3 configured.

civismtp.uas.coop does not appear to be configured in the MX system for iptar.civismtp.com.
civismtp2.uas.coop does not appear to be configured in the MX system for iptar.civismtp.com.
civismtp3.uas.coop does not appear to be configured in the MX system for iptar.civismtp.com."

The correct domain for your account is

iptar.civismtp.org

Please use that for your configuration value and you shouldn't get this error.

Let us know if you hit any other issues.

Kind regards,

Ah, okay, that worked. You should update the documentation to reflect that, it only uses the example of yourorgname.civismtp.com.
