Create a direct link for mail template

Hello,

Is it possible to create a action for some message template.
So if i click on the button Actions, you can choose for:
- Send an email
- Send a order (this should be a send mail with the template "Order")

Does someone knows how i can do this?

sorry, i dont think i understand you clearly. Might want to give some urls on our demo server and let us know what you want to modify etc

However, it does seem like you'll need to do these changes via an extension and implement some hooks. So u'll need to be familiar with php, civi extensions and the civi api

so this is to save one click?

Current workflow: click on Actions= 'send email' and then selecting 'Order' template

Proposed workflow: click on Actions = 'send Order' and have an email with the Order template already chosen?

ie the outcome would be the same but the workflow would cut out a step?

Yes it is about one click. Why.. Because people who must use CiviCRM forget sometimes something. And it is for me to make something as simple as it is possible for them to use it.

I think that's the most beautiful work, to make something so simple that others can't do wrong...

I hope we can make a solution for this.

you should be able to do this by creating a custom task for 'send order' and reusing most of the sme code as 'send email' except for pre-loading and freezing the order message template

Hello Lobo, Thanks, but i can not find the options for custom tasks..

Anyway.. What i want is this:
Some contact (mr. A. A) has an order.
I have to mail this order to the sales man of the company (b.b@forexample.com) (this is not the emailadres from the contact).
This order has also be "send" in the activities of this contact (mr. A. A) so i can find it back later.

Does anyone has a solution for this. Maybe i think to difficult...  THANKS!  :-\

I have found some solution i think...

I create a profile, and set the notify email to the sales man.
So i make a field First, last name and note. This note is than available with this contact.

Is it possible to get some default value for this note field?
