We recently upgraded to 4.3.7 and have lost the Send Receipt checkbox from Record New Contribution.

The Payment Details tab on a new contribution has a checkbox on the demo site:
http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/view/contribution?reset=1&action=add&cid=203&context=contribution

It's missing from ours since upgrade.

Is there a setting somewhere to enable it? We need it!

Check your "Outbound Email settings", if its enable or not. If its disable than the checkbox will not appear.
Also if you are on standalone page of New Contribution the checkbox will not appear.
