I'm having a problem with the CiviVolonter extension (running on Wordpress 3.6.1 + CiviCRM 4.4)
Installing the extension was no problem and the proper menu show up in my event once I enable the volonter management.

When I click on ether the (Define volonters needs) or the (assign volonters) button the system simply reload the vontonter tab page.
The (log Vonlunteer hours) does open a new page and I'm even allow to add a volonter from it.

Since the first two butons (Define)(assing) seem to create pop-ups screens I suspected that the problem I'm experiencing was possibly relate to my browser setting. I tried it using both Chrome and Firefox with similar result.

Any idea ?

Thanks

Xavier, thanks! I do like GitHub's issue tracking system, but for consistency let's keep bona fide issues in Jira and support requests here in the forum.

Flalf, I'm working on reproducing this issue and will for report back soon.

Flaf, I did a fresh install of Wordpress 3.6.1, CiviCRM 4.4, and CiviVolunteer, and I could not reproduce your issue. I tested in Firefox 25.0 and Chromium 28.0.1500.71.

Best guesses:
  • You're using an outdated browser - can you share what versions you're running?
  • Some WordPress plugin you're using has conflicting JavaScript
  • If you've been testing pre-release versions of CiviVolunteer, you might have cached a bad version of the JS; try a hard refresh (control + R in most browsers)

It would help to get some debugging messages from your browser... are you getting any errors in the JavaScript console?

Should I delete the CiviVolunters extension and try a re-install ?

RESOLVED !

When looking at the Java console output I realised that the URL was wrong !
I had made a mistake when filling the Extensions ressource URL.

Sorry for having you spend time on this.

Now I can start working with CiviVolunters !

Real feedback to follow soon !

Thanks again
