How to remove 'Update Available' pop up message?

Every time a user logs on to any 4.3 system they get the 'Update Available' message.  The fact that there is a new release is also nicely highlighted in the footer message.  Is there any way that this pop up message can be stopped? It gets very tedious.  (if this already been fixed before, sorry but I couldn't find it).

Check Administer >> System Settings >> Misc >> New Version Alerts
