Solved: Missing CKEditor after upgrade from 4.1 to 4.4
November 05, 2013, 05:21:41 am
Hello,

after upgrading a CiviCRM installation from 4.1 to 4.4 the CKEditor for editing HTML text in mailings has disappeared.

We checked Settings - Display Preferences, but WYSIWYG Editor ist set to CKEditor.

Is there anything else, that could disable CKEditor?
What else can we check?

Any hint or help is greatly appreciated.

Just half an hour after posting this, we found a solution
  • go to settings - display preferences
  • WYSIWYG Editor: set to Textarea
  • save configuration
  • go to settings - display preferences again
  • WYSIWYG Editor: ist set to CKEditor
