Hi,

I have a problem with the membership sign-up page http://passivhaus-austria.org/index.php?q=civicrm/contribute/transact&reset=1&id=1 that I have created: It consists of a person and organization/company on behalf of which the user signs up. In the section "Organization Details" the states are limited to the selected country, but in the individual person's section ("Passivhaus Austria Mitgliedsperson") all states ("Bundesland") are selectable instead of only those of the selected country.

Any ideas how to repair it?

Check that the country field appears above the state field so that Civi knows what country's states to offer to the user.

Apparently I did that, and besides to JavaScript the order of fields doesn't matter.
