Team Leaders/Peer to Peer Fundraising

One of our short term goals is for users to create an account, join (or be placed on) a specific team (or event), and begin peer to peer fundraising to meet their individual goal for that event. I would also like team leaders to be able to have a view of their team's progress, send emails, etc. This is primarily for missions trips. Thank you

I think you will have to use "Personal Campaign Pages" feature in CiviCRM and will need some customization / custom code to build missing functionality of team.

Mathieu has written an extension to do team PCP
https://github.com/mlutfy/ca.bidon.pcpteams

I'm not sure it does all what you need, but if you have some funds, he should be able to help.
