Wordpress 4.4.1 Nag Update

I have 4.4 installed. I get a nag to upgrade to 4.4.1. Using the standard Wordpress upgrade procedure, I view my plugins and it doesn't now CiviCRM 4.4.1 to be an available upgrade.

Shouldn't it?

civicrm does not follow the standard wp upgrade procedure. U'll need to follow the instructions on the wiki to upgrade civicrm
