Hi together,

Im using civicrm only for send mass mails on different mailing groups for distribute press releases.

So, I have different mailing lists (receiving groups)

Is it possible for different users to assign a specific mailing list (receiving groups)?

Is this about different users only having access to certain groups for use with CiviMail.

I.e User 1 can (only) email to Groups A and B

User 2 can (only) email to Groups C and D

and perhaps User 3 can only email Groups A and D

Is that what you are looking for?

I haven't tested recently - you can use ACLs to create the various groups so the User A will only 'see' contacts in Group A

but I am not certain about whether the ACL will prevent the User seeing other Groups at CiviMail - i think in the past it did not prevent.

Hmm...

I wish it would be possible with ACLs.

If you under "Manage ACLs" instead of a role could select a user and might assign a defined contact group, then it would be perfect!

Example: Joomla / Civi-user "Mark123" can only see / send his mailings to "Group 123"...
                Joomla / Civi-user "Peter456" can only see / send his mailings to "Group 456"...and so on

especially the comments for an overview of how the ACL system can be improved for a future version. If your org/client can contribute code and/or sponsor this development that would be great and enable us to get it into a sooner release
