Please Help: CiviCRM Contact Search broken after domain name change.

We've recently changed the domain on our website which is running WordPress 3.7.1 and has CiviCRM 4.4.0 installed. After i changed the domain in civicrm.settings.php, CiviCRM opens and works. It shows me all of my contacts on the dashboard but now it's not letting me use the search. When i try to search, it takes me to the wp-login.php page.

Can anyone help me figure out what I need to do here? I'm trying to avoid wiping the thing out and importing everything/re-setting up all the forms. That's a week of work.

Is Search the only thing not working?

Do you have your canonical domain sorted - are you ever jumping from www to no-www?

I haven't followed that list because I didn't move the wordpress really. I just changed the domain name it uses. Search is not the only thing that is broken. it seems anything having to do with contacts is broken. Making new ones, searching for them, all of that. However, the dashboard still seems to show a list of contacts... go figure.

About the canonical domain thing... I have it set on my host to only use "www." in front of the site... if that's what you're asking.
