Multiple price sets and one event (member prices) ...
April 11, 2008, 09:08:49 pm
Is it possible to have member discount prices available in an event registration form, but have it so that the member's role (when they are logged into CiviCRM) allows them to just see their price set options?

I have 2 price sets - one for regular prices and one for the members only discount prices.  How do I integrate the discount prices into my form?  It's only letting me select one price set when I go into my event configuration/edit area.

I read on the support site that this was an enhancement being made with phase 2 of price sets. Has this been completed yet?  I'm using version 1.9.

Thanks.

No, but this might happen in 2.1 or 2.2

If important to you, you might want to consider sponsoring this feature and/or contributing code to ensure it does happen for 2.1

Hi Lobo,

I am in the process of customizing the registration process (Which I have posted about in another post).  I also need this functionality.

I need to be able to enable at least four different Price Level's that can use the same price set structure.

Non-Members Full Price - $450.00 Full conference
Students Discounted Rate - $400.00 Full Conference
Members Discounted Rate - $350.00 Full Conference
Staff / Presenters Rate - $0.00

Price Set Options

Day 1 - Fee Level [ ] Day 2 - Fee Level [ ] Day 3 - Fee Level [ ]

Or (Participants can select any given track that goes all three days)

Select (Drop Down List)

Track 1 - Fee Level
Track 2 - Fee Level
Track 3 - Fee Level

Can you point me to which files I would need to have my programmer modify and and which hooks?

Thanks!

Dallas

your developer might want to read: http://civicrm.org/architecture

the event code is: CRM/Event/Form/Registration/*
