Hi all,

I'm testing the upgrade from 4.3.7 to 4.4.1 (originally 4.4.0) on a dev site.  Everything seems to work except for the CiviEvent Wait List feature (which works fine on our 4.3.7 production site).

1) View Event page, note message that Event is full but a wait list is available
2) Click "Register" button to attempt to sign up for wait list.
3) Note registration page is displayed with URL: civicrm/event/register?id=191&reset=1
4) Complete signup profile, click Continue
5) Registration page is displayed again, this time with URL civicrm/event/register  -- note no parameters in URL!
6) Repeat steps 4 and 5 indefinitely...

I did confirm that the Wait List feature works as expected on the D7/Civi4.4 demo site.

I tried disabling and re-enabling the Participant Statuses "On Waitlist" and "Pending from waitlist" with no effect.

There is nothing in the apache error log.

The same result happened when I tested my 4.4.0 dev site as well as following the upgrade of that site from 4.4.0 to 4.4.1.

Any troubleshooting suggestions?  Many thanks!

Are you on a stock theme like Garland? It seems like a validation error could be happening but 'something' is hiding it from you - any script errors?

Hi Eileen,

I switched to the Garland theme and had the same issue; I didn't see any errors on screen or in the log.  Really weird.

Hi all,

I've run into the same exact problem.  I upgraded from 3.3.6 to 4.4.3 a couple months ago, and I only now noticed that the waitlist functionality wasn't working.  I tried upgrading to 4.4.4 but that did not help.

Has anyone found a solution?

Tesame issue here.
But i noticed that this won't work with events with a fee.
Events without a fee are still working properly.

The github link for the patch above gives a 404 - could you post it here or somewhere else, perhaps?
