Self producing 'copy of' and 'copy of copy'

Hello,

we have upgraded a CiviCRM 4.1.3 version installation into a 4.4 version. Everything went fine, but now we found some strange behavior. When looking at 'Manage Events' and looking at 'Draft and Unscheduled Mailings' or 'Scheduled and Sent Mailings'. Entries are self duplicated without being  duplicated by a user, which means that only looking at the overview produces copies and copies ob copies of entries.

Did anybody have the same problem and what was the solution for it?
I don't even know, how to localize the error. Every tip and help appreciated.

most likely your permissions are messed up. Anon user has the "access CiviEvent" permission, and hence various crawlers go about making copies of events
