Profile Search View shows in Error Page in Joomla
November 18, 2013, 01:43:53 pm
Any search views I create in a Joomla menu result in error pages (see attached). This was a new profile that simply included first name and last name and I was logged in to the front end as super user. The profiles that were already built that have search views display the same results. The custom search menu item only has searches 1 and 2 available, but those seem to work. I have been trying to get this to work for three days and am at a loss. I also just tried a profile create form "new individual" and it resulted in the same error page.

I've also having issues with getting civiCRM Profiles to work with Joomla (3.1.5) menus. I can't access any of the profile related menus unless I'm logged into the site. I get the same erroas as mark0514 when I'm not logged in. When I'm logged in, I get the 'view' (option=com_menus&view) option no matter what I have selected via the Joomla menu. I get the same results with it set to 'Profile Search Form', 'Profile Create Form', 'Profile Edit Form' or 'Profile Search Form'.

I want to use civiCRM for registering user, and to give registered users an option to edit their profiles. How do I configure civiCRM to display a profile, to be filled in by a non-logged in users? Also, how to configure a Joomla menu to give registered users an option to edit their profile?
