Author Topic: Stored State/Province not pre-selected in front-end profile edit (Read 740 times)

After upgrading from 4.3.8 to 4.4.1 (Joomla 2.5.13) , the previously stored value for the State/Province drop-down field is not showing as preselected on a profile edit form in the front-end (i.e., the drop down shows "-Select-" rather than "California" for example). I am pretty sure that all prior versions of CiviCRM displayed the stored value as pre-selected in the front-end form dropdown.

I am not able to reproduce on the demo site since there isn't a profile edit form exposed on the front-end. My profile is relatively simple since there is only one country (US) and one set of states in the state drop down field.

there was a bug in 4.4.1 and the fix will be part of 4.4.2, can you try this patch: https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-core/pull/1960
