Find Contributions - Add fields

When i do a contribution search it lets me see the following fields as the results:

   Name   Amount   Type   Source   Received   Thank-you Sent   Status   Premium   

I want to add the external ID on this so we can see the external id number related to the payment. Any thoughts on if i need to modify a template or is there a more simple solution?
