Search/Filter registrations by date
April 14, 2008, 11:39:02 am
The offline registration screen captures the date and time of the registration & I'm guessing the online process simply records it.

I don't find any way to search or screen by that data (v. 1.9).  Am I missing something?

The online registration process does record the registration date / time - so either way the data is in the DB (civicrm_participant.register_date). The out-of-the box search functions don't include searching / filtering on that field. However, you can export participant info (Find Participants >> Export) - and use Excel to sort / filter on that column. Your other alternative is to build a custom search and include that field in your search criteria as well as output columns.

Thanks for the work around and the fix.  I'll dig into the custom searches soon.

It's not uncommon for us to follow up on registrations with some material sent by U.S. Mail.  Finding registrations easily that occurred since the last batch of mailing is helpful!
