Double Log In
November 27, 2013, 01:53:28 pm
After I log in to my Joomla backend and access Civi I am prompted to log in again, usually when I run a search. Is this normal?

Is it replicated on CiviCRM demo site ?  If not may be some Joomla extension or plugin responsible for same.

Can you check the base URL (CIVICRM_UF_BASEURL) in civicrm.settings.php file. It may be set to something different than the one you use when logging into Joomla Administration.

If you go to 'www.example.com/administrator' and log in and start working with Civi, if the CiviCRM Base URL value is "example.com/administrator/" it will ask you to login again.

If you are logging in using www.example.com/administrator, then the base URL in civicrm.settings.php file should be set to 'www.example.com/administrator'. If you change the Base URL in CiviCRM, you need to rebuild the menu ( www.example.com/administrator/?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/menu/rebuild&reset=1 )
