Crateing User Account civicrm

I use Civicrm to crate Customer account so they link to there contact page. How do you get drupal to send email automatically on new user account set up

I think you need to clarify your work flow before your question can be answered.

What method are you using to create the Drupal account - if you are creating the civi contact first, then using the 'add CMS user' from the Actions link, then no, there is no email sent out from Drupal.

In which case, can't you just create the Drupal User via Drupal in which case a default Drupal user welcome email will go out.

if you need some other solution, we have blogged about using a civi action to trigger a Drupal rule which can create the Drupal user and trigger the email.

hope that helps

Thanks For your reply. We crate the contact file on civiCRM then crate a Customer account on CIVICRM as i Don't want every staff be able to add users to the site. So is there a way to get email set out using civicrm.

you maybe able to get some hints from here https://civicrm.org/blogs/petednz/creating-drupal-users-made-easy-single-or-multiple-contacts-civi-imports-and-webforms

there is nothing in core that can do this directly afaik - if you are keen to see it in core - which would be good - ie that civi uses the standard drupal cms user creation process - then it would be good if you could develop or fund the development of this.
