Can't Edit Membership Fields in UI?
December 11, 2013, 11:33:53 am
Folks

This has been bugging me for a while and now it's getting critical as other staff being to use our system.

Sometimes a membership or contribution record needs to be edited for some reason, but when EDIT is opened inside the UI some or all of the fields are not accessible, and I have to open the database to find and edit that field.

The other staff who need to be able to edit these things do not have database access or training to do so.

Why would some of these items be fully 'editable' within the UI and others not be?

Your feedback heartily appreciated!

Thanks, Keith

If you are sure it is not a permissions problem and you are indeed still using version 3.3 can you you upgrade?  End date is definitely editable in 4.2.

It is definitely not a permissions problem, as quite often/normally all the fields ARE editable.  That's the really frustrating part - that these odd occurrences are variable and seemingly without reason.
